Foxton Station
Foxton railway station is just outside the village of Foxton. Run by First Capital Connect – Great Northern line, trains operate between London King’s Cross and Cambridge. Trains run approximately every half-hour during peak hours and on the hour during off-peak times.
There is no ticket office. However, a self-service machine is available which accepts cash and credit cards. The ticket machine is located at the entrance on platform 1 (the London bound platform).
The first train to Cambridge departs at 06.38 on weekdays and the last departs at 01.05.
The first train to London departs at 05:44 on weekdays and the last departs at 23:25.
There are no car parking facilities available at Foxton.

The picture of Foxton Station on the user group website is clearly quite old as the waiting room still has doors! Is there any chance of the doors being restored before next winter? It is the one place of complete shelter at the station and could be both be warm and dry but that is unlikely with no doors.
The pedestrian gates at the level crossing have been out of order for at least three weeks. This presents a significant safety risk as pedestrians have to cross the line by walking on the main A10 carriageway. Everyone who uses the station should complain to Network Rail in the strongest possible terms.
