The Tavern Gallery writers meet at 7.30pm on the third Tuesday of each month at the Tavern Gallery in Meldreth. The gallery is owned by David Chappell.

The purpose of the group is to produce poetry or prose inspired by the art and craft exhibited at the gallery. Each month the theme changes and the group members take turns to lead the sessions. We are currently compiling our work with the view of producing a book.

The group have enjoyed an evening sortie to the ADC playhouse to see a play about a writers group!!-very insightful!!
